I’ve been thinking about whether or not I’m missing out on a lot of the things I could be doing as a free young girl living in a foreign country where the question is not “when’s the party?” but “why aren’t we there yet?”. The truth is that I have no real desire to party like I’m going to die tomorrow. I just want to be happy and it takes very little to make me happy. With the right person by my side I can make the most out of almost any situation. And I don’t even mean the “right person” romantically. Sometimes it is a special someone but sometimes it can be a good friend or even an interesting stranger sitting next to me on a plane. Anyway, I don’t really feel like I’m missing out on much. What? Dancing on tables? Drinking my paycheck in one night? Making out with strangers? Seriouslly? No, thank you. I rather curl up and read a book, cook a newly found recipe or just walk around holding hands with someone I love. Yes, that sounds more like it. Call me boring. I don’t really give a crap.
